Moong Dal Ki Halwa

Ingredients


  • Moong daal – 100 gm
  • Ghee – 100 gm
  • Khoya – 100 gm
  • Almonds cut into small pieces
  • Cashews cut into small pieces
  • 10 to 12 unsalted pistachios

Method


  •  Soak the moong dal in water  4 to 5 hours.
  • Drain the dal  and then grind  to a smooth paste with  some enough water.
  • Heat ghee in non stick pan . Add moong dal in ghee and mix well and  then cook on the low flame until roasted.
  • When the lentils is roast, add sugar syrup and roast for a while
  • Then turn off the gas and add the khoyaa and add finely chopped almonds, cashews, pista
  • And serve moong dal halwa.
