Moong Dal Ki Halwa
Ingredients
- Moong daal – 100 gm
- Ghee – 100 gm
- Khoya – 100 gm
- Almonds cut into small pieces
- Cashews cut into small pieces
- 10 to 12 unsalted pistachios
Method
- Soak the moong dal in water 4 to 5 hours.
- Drain the dal and then grind to a smooth paste with some enough water.
- Heat ghee in non stick pan . Add moong dal in ghee and mix well and then cook on the low flame until roasted.
- When the lentils is roast, add sugar syrup and roast for a while
- Then turn off the gas and add the khoyaa and add finely chopped almonds, cashews, pista
- And serve moong dal halwa.
